About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)

Hearst Magazines’ portfolio of more than 30 iconic brands in the U.S.—including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s BAZAAR, and Popular Mechanics — inspires, entertains, and builds new and bold experiences for an engaged and growing audience across digital, video, social and print, reaching nearly 130 million readers and site visitors each month. With sophisticated content creation, cutting-edge technology, and industry-leading data capabilities, we make media and products that move people across all platforms. We are a global media company that publishes nearly 200 magazine editions and 175 websites around the world—and together, we are shaping what’s next.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly revenue pacing across Hearst’s lifestyle brand portfolio, providing a clear view of performance against targets.
  • Analyze performance trends across brands, categories, and initiatives to identify risks, opportunities, and drivers of revenue growth.
  • Translate performance insights into clear, prioritized recommendations for editorial and commerce partners.
  • Lead KPI reporting and dashboard management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity across reporting frameworks.
  • Clean, validate, and synthesize large data sets to deliver actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product, Audience Development, and Data teams to improve analytics infrastructure, close reporting gaps, and enhance data integrity.
  • Support strategic initiatives, business cases, and planning processes by connecting performance insights to long-term commerce growth opportunities.

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, business intelligence, consulting, or a similarly analytical role; commerce or media experience is a plus but not required.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and strong fluency in KPI reporting and performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence or reporting platforms such as Looker, Domo, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive deliverables.
  • Strong communicator and collaborative team player who builds trust across functions and levels.
  • Self-starter mindset with high motivation, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to drive measurable revenue impact.
  • This role is based in New York, NY and operates on a hybrid schedule with four days per week in the office.

Benefits (What We Offer)

  • Work with the Best: Collaborate with top-tier professionals across media, advertising, tech, fashion, lifestyle, and publishing, shaping the future of these dynamic industries.
