Baptist Health is looking for a Collections Manager to join our team in Louisville, KY
The Collections Manager oversees all activities and staff within the Billing Office Collections team and the Imaging Center under Patient Financial Services (PFS). This role is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for internal staff and external vendor partnerships to ensure the timely and accurate collection of accounts, particularly those with insurance balances.
The position facilitates correspondence for all Baptist Health facilities and oversees document imaging operations, including assessing scanning quality, ensuring document legibility, indexing pertinent documents and data, preparing bank deposits, and assisting with document corrections such as re-keying and rescanning. The Collections Manager ensures current billing practices comply with all applicable governmental rules and regulations.
Additionally, this role manages the investigation and resolution of billing discrepancies and errors while supporting staff in the daily performance of their responsibilities. The Manager ensures departmental milestones and performance goals are consistently met.
This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring billing procedures are executed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies to achieve established departmental targets.
