The Manager, Clinician Services plays a critical role in leading clinician teams to ensure operational excellence, optimal utilization, and high-quality delivery across clinical studies. This role partners cross-functionally with Clinical Science, HR, Finance, and leadership to support clinician resourcing, onboarding, and performance.
What you’ll be doing
Lead, manage, and develop a team of clinicians, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Partner with Clinical Science and leadership to assess clinician resource needs and ensure appropriate coverage across studies
Support workforce planning, forecasting, and clinician utilization to meet study demands
Collaborate with HR to recruit and hire clinicians aligned to study requirements and timelines
Partner with IT and Human Capital Management to ensure efficient onboarding and training readiness
Identify training needs and support development of individual performance and training plans
Oversee SOP development, process improvements, and quality control measures across the department
Monitor and analyze operational reports and metrics to drive efficiency and continuous improvement
Support Business Development efforts by providing input for bids as needed
Partner with Finance and vendors to manage clinician payments, budgets, and financial obligations
Oversee time tracking, PTO approvals, and resolution of operational or system-related challenges
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
May perform clinician duties as required
What we look for
Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical trials, research, or clinical setting
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience diagnosing and/or treating patients (psychiatric, neurocognitive, or related indications preferred)
Previous supervisory experience (minimum 2 years), including hiring and managing teams
Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
Strong project management skills and ability to deliver against objectives
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish) preferred
