Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting future civil engineers and building strong student communities? The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is seeking a dedicated Manager, Chi Epsilon to lead the operational integration and ongoing management of the Chi Epsilon Honor Society within ASCE's Student Programs portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to shape a new program, engage with students nationwide, and contribute to the growth of the profession.

🌟 What You'll Do

As Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the success of ASCE's Chi Epsilon program. You will:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure seamless integration with ASCE Student Chapters
  • Develop and maintain program policies, systems, and communication strategies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty advisors, and volunteers
  • Manage program logistics, including regalia orders, scholarships, and event coordination
  • Maintain accurate member data and ensure compliance with ASCE standards
  • Represent Chi Epsilon at ASCE events and deliver training programs virtually and in person

🧠 What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in education, communications, business, marketing, or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in association management, higher education, or similar environment
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with web content management
  • Experience in community building and event planning; knowledge of civil engineering education a plus

Based in Reston, VA, this position has hybrid work from home flexibility in the Northern VA/DC Metro area and requires occasional travel for conferences and events. Submissions of interest must contain cover letter and resume.
