This role focuses on the people side of change, which involves preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, organization structures, and more. Interacts with Customer Experience (CX) Program/project level Stakeholders, Senior Leaders and Sponsors across the globe creating Stakeholder engagement, competence, and confidence for the changes.

This role is responsible for driving faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of changes, and proficiency with the changes that impact employees who must use the changes in their daily work. These improvements increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes.

  • Partners with program and site level Stakeholders, Leaders, Sponsors and cross-functional business/technical teams locally and globally.
  • Partners with project managers and project teams to integrate change management activities with their project plans.
  • Develops and implements change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes for global and cross functional initiatives.
  • Develops and implements global strategies and cross-functional teams plans to minimize resistant behaviors from employees from all levels and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes.
  • Acts as a coach for senior leaders and executives to help them fulfill the critical role as a change management sponsor for global initiatives.
  • Provides support and coaching for people managers and supervisors to help their teams through the transition of change.
  • Assigns and tracks tasks and activities to functional peer groups, people managers and staff aligned with the change management tactical plan.
  • Oversees project training and communications plans to ensure it aligns with Change Management design principles and is addressing findings identified from impact assessments.
  • Oversees change management activities assigned to individuals acting as change practitioners and change agents.
  • Acts in a self-directed, accountable way when completing tasks; willing to take initiative and manage responsibilities independently while meeting timelines.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel commercially and internationally on behalf of CooperVision.
  • As needed up to 25% to gain understanding of global site operations and creating relationships.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to make sense of complex, high quantity and sometime contradictory information to effectively find solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess change readiness and identify appropriate key stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to influence change management principles while at the same time developing and nurturing positive, effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities in providing expertise to build resilience to change across the organization.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of integrated organizational change management methodology. Prosci methodology preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple, complex projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly under pressure using sound judgement and decision-making.
  • Ability to consistently seek out team input and constructive feedback putting feedback to effective use while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to consider diverse language and cultural communication practices when developing change management plans.
  • Familiarity with Prosci Proxima Tool.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Advanced MS Office skills preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment.
  • Prolonged sitting in front of a computer.

Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience as a Change Manager, managing end-to-end change or equivalent experience in Learning and Development.
  • Prosci Change Practitioner Certification preferred.
  • Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies and systems.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide cross-functional project management and teamwork including business and technical audiences/partners.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Organizational Change Management or equivalent education, training, or experience.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $103,438.00 and $137,917.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
