Damen Shipyards bouwt schepen en biedt maritieme oplossingen gericht op verantwoord en efficiënt gebruik van de mogelijkheden die oceanen, zeeën, meren en rivieren bieden. Veiligheid en gezondheid vormen een vast onderdeel van het bedrijfsbeleid en zijn essentieel voor de activiteiten op alle Damen-locaties, waaronder kantoren, scheepswerven, schepen, projectlocaties en andere locaties wereldwijd waar medewerkers actief zijn. Het beleid is erop gericht letsel aan personen te voorkomen en veiligheid te waarborgen voor personeel, onderaannemers en partners. Dit wordt ondersteund door maatregelen om zowel fysiek als mentaal welzijn te bevorderen en door medewerkers te betrekken bij het creëren van een veilige werkplek. Damen hanteert hiervoor de principes Plan it Safe, Do it Safe en Prove it Safe.
Wij zijn Damen Logistiek. Een modern magazijn dat in 2025 is geopend op een nieuwe locatie inclusief een transport- en douaneafdeling die betrokken zijn om tijdige leveringen te garanderen. Met jaarlijks 1.000 verschillende leveranciers en meer dan 500 bestemmingen en klanten wereldwijd is geen dag hetzelfde.
The role
Als Manager Warehouse zorg je voor de operationele bedrijfsvoering en het realiseren van de Service Level Agreement zodat de doorlooptijden, beschikbaarheid van bepaalde voorraden en de doelstellingen m.b.t. On Time Delivery worden gehaald binnen het gestelde budget. In deze rol zorg jij ervoor dat onze magazijn processen zo efficiënt mogelijk verlopen, waarbij je optimaal gebruikmaakt van mensen en middelen. Je rapporteert aan de Manager Logistiek en geeft leiding aan een team van circa 30 FTE.
