Create your best future and accelerate your career at Westpac as a Manager, Carbon, Commodities & Trade, WIB FCF BCM
What’s the role?
This role sits within the Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) Financial Crime and Fraud team. You’ll be part of a dynamic and global team providing end-to-end oversight of financial crime risk across AML/CTF, sanctions, fraud and scams, and anti-bribery and corruption.
As Manager, Carbon, Commodities and Trade, you’ll provide first-line financial crime risk advice supporting WIB businesses operating in trade finance, commodities, and carbon markets. The role ensures financial crime risks are effectively identified early and managed for complex products and transactions, in line with the WIB Financial Crime Framework and Westpac’s risk appetite.
Bringing specialist expertise in trade-based financial crime, sanctions, and emerging risks, you’ll partner closely with business and operations teams to deliver proportionate and sustainable risk solutions. Additionally, there’s a key focus in supporting regulatory compliance, managing issues, and contributing to broader enterprise initiatives, ensuring risks are effectively identified, addressed, and managed in line with the Group’s risk appetite.
