Job Description

INVESTOR RELATIONS

  • Lead communication and strategy to build strong relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and maximizing shareholder value through effective communication and engagement, in particular:
    • Institutional investors – engagement and outreach (conference / 1-on-1 meetings); expanding new geographies; increasing proportion of institutional investors
    • Family offices – regular engagement and outreach to increase proportion in register
    • Sell-side Research Analysts – consistent engagement and guidance to ensure actual financials are in line with consensus analyst forecasts; increase analyst coverage houses
    • Remisiers – regular engagement and outreach to the various remisier houses to ensure remisiers are well equipped to speak to their clients
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating of REIT’s presentation deck which are public documents, including ensuring its accuracy and sign-offs from various stakeholders
  • Regular unitholding analysis and strategies on strengthening shareholding register, including engagement with shareholding analysis providers like Orient Capital
  • Increase inclusion of the REIT into various indices – Target selected indices to get the REIT on, in order to increase stock liquidity and share price
  • Organise CSR initiatives, in line with CSR policies and Group
  • Organise analyst calls / briefings on results
  • Organise investor meetings/ conferences with banks/ investor associations (such as REITAS, SIAS) to reach out to investors
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects that may be assigned to you from time to time.

TREASURY FUNCTION

  • Leading and overseeing treasury related transactions and all loan transactions for the REIT, in accordance with listed company regulatory requirements
  • Manage the company's capital structure, optimizing the mix of equity and debt financing, advising on capital allocation decisions to maximize shareholder value
  • Negotiate terms and structure loan execution, negotiation and documentation ensuring terms are in the best interest of unitholders
  • Main liaison person working with other professional advisors including lawyers, bankers, auditors, SGX/ CDP/ regulatory bodies to successfully execute transactions from identification, negotiation, execution and settlement
  • Identify, monitoring and planning of financial risks, (eg. currency fluctuations, interest rate risks, and market volatility), providing treasury related monitoring, analysis and execution; providing insights and solution recommendations to management on treasury matters
  • Prepare treasury reports and financial statements/ presentations to management and the Board to ensure financial metrics (e.g., loan covenants and regulatory requirements) are met
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets that align with organizational goals and priorities
  • Monitoring / researching market trends in industrial / logistic asset class, including major transactions, sector trends, players and issues, etc.
  • Maintain strong relationships with other professional advisors, including lawyers, bankers, auditors etc

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

Experience

  • Proven experience in treasury, and investor relations, or a similar role for about 4 years
  • Familiar with REIT regulations, listed company regulations including the CIS Code and Takeover Code
  • CFMAS licensed individuals are preferred
  • Familiarity with financial markets and investment strategies.

Skills

  • Excellent communication, PowerPoint and presentation/ positioning skills
  • Proficiency in treasury/ fundraising execution and management
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with institutional investors, family offices, analysts, and remisiers
  • Strong analytical skills for performing treasury analysis and developing strategies
  • Organizational skills to manage CSR/sustainability initiatives and analyst calls/briefings
