The Role
The Manager, Campaign Operations is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing scalable, high-quality, multi-channel marketing campaigns within the marketing automation platform (MAP). This role ensures campaigns are built with precision, tracked accurately, and delivered with a seamless and engaging customer experience.

In addition to campaign execution, this role supports campaign planning and intake processes, and owns key aspects of the campaign operating model, including workflow management, timelines, and cross-functional coordination. The Manager, Campaign Operations plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability across campaign delivery.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in marketing automation with a strategic and process-oriented mindset, enabling efficient campaign execution, data-driven optimization, and alignment with broader marketing and revenue goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build, launch, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., email, landing pages, forms, and nurture programs)
  • Configure and manage campaigns within the marketing automation platform (MAP), ensuring accuracy, scalability, and adherence to best practices
  • Set up and maintain campaign assets, including emails, landing pages, and forms, with a focus on performance and user experience
  • Implement and manage campaign tracking frameworks, including UTMs, naming conventions, and attribution inputs to ensure accurate reporting
  • Develop and manage audience segmentation, including dynamic lists and targeting strategies
  • Build, maintain, and optimize automated nurture programs to support lead engagement and progression through the funnel
  • Support campaign planning and intake processes, including maintaining campaign calendars and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Own and continuously improve the campaign operating model, ensuring clear processes, timelines, and accountability across execution
  • Manage campaign workflow and project coordination within project management tools (e.g., Asana), including intake, task tracking, and cross-functional alignment
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across campaigns, systems, and reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing, demand generation, and operations teams to align campaign execution with strategic objectives
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve campaign processes, performance, and scalability

Required Skills and Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign operations, or marketing automation
  • Hands-on experience building and executing multi-channel campaigns within a marketing automation platform (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, Pardot)
  • Proven ability to build and launch campaigns including email, landing pages, forms, and nurture programs
  • Experience implementing campaign tracking frameworks, including UTMs, naming conventions, and attribution inputs
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, list management, and data hygiene best practices
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and understanding of MAP-CRM integration
  • Experience supporting campaign planning, intake processes, and campaign calendars
  • Experience managing workflows and projects within project management tools (e.g., Asana or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in campaign setup, QA, and execution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot campaign or system issues independently
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Skills and Professional Experience

  • Experience owning or evolving campaign operations processes or campaign operating models
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and multi-channel campaign strategy
  • Experience with advanced attribution models and campaign performance analysis
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and recommend optimizations
  • Advanced experience with segmentation strategies and database marketing at scale
  • Familiarity with campaign planning tools (e.g., Uptempo or similar)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills across complex, cross-functional campaigns
  • Experience driving process improvements and operational scalability
