Key Responsibilities :
• CAD Model Integrity -Verify that 3D models and MBD are consistent, properly detailed, and aligned with engineering intent and functional requirements. Ensure assemblies are free from clashes through interference/clearance checks.
• Validate 2D Drawings - Ensure all mechanical and aircraft drawings are thoroughly checked for accuracy, completeness, GD&T application, and compliance with design standards and specifications before release.
• Perform Tolerance Analysis & Fit Verification-Perform and validate tolerance stack-up analyses to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability of components and assemblies.
• Standards and Design Principles Enforcement- Ensure all deliverables comply with established engineering standards, drafting conventions, and best practices in mechanical and aircraft design.
• Error Identification and Corrective Feedback- Detect discrepancies, inconsistencies, and design issues early, and provide clear, actionable feedback to designers to support timely corrections and continuous improvement.
• Configuration Compliance & Control-Confirm that all drawings and models adhere to configuration management requirements, including correct numbers, revisions, life cycle control, and traceability within the PDM/PLM systems.
