
Why your role matters
The Manager, Business Strategy & Planning plays a key role in leading the operational delivery of the Strategy & Planning function within the Registrar & Student Services (RaSS) portfolio. Working closely with the Head, Strategy & Planning, the role translates strategic priorities into an integrated program of work, bringing together planning, analysis, governance and continuous improvement activities to support informed decision-making and shape the portfolio’s future operating model.
Providing day-to-day leadership across agreed workstreams, the Manager ensures high-quality outcomes are delivered on time and in line with governance requirements. The role builds strong relationships with senior stakeholders across RaSS, the broader Division of Education & Student Experience and the University, coordinating consultation, interpreting business needs and turning complex information into clear, evidence-based insights and recommendations.
Reporting to the Head, Strategy & Planning and leading one direct report, this role is an opportunity to contribute to strategic and operational priorities across a complex portfolio, influence how services evolve, and help translate strategy into practical, coordinated action.
