JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all plant support functions – including mechanical support systems (vacuum pumps, air compressors, air dryers, etc.), wastewater treatment, soluble oil systems, storeroom operations, tooling inventory and operations, and machine shop operations
Responsible for execution of energy efficiency initiatives and monitoring
Accountable for capital expenditure plan development, capital cash flow management, and contractor management
Utilize available resources to achieve KPI targets and close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, Gap Analysis, meeting schedules and action logs, 5 - Whys, PDCA and SDCA cycles, etc.)
Provide direction, coaching, performance management, skill assessment and training in direct reports (salaried and hourly)
Ensure that safety, quality and housekeeping standards are met
Create safe and engaging work environment
Availability to work holidays as needed for start-up/shut-down operations or maintenance
Ability to support a 24/7 operation with on-call or in plant support as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
BS degree in Engineering is preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience; Experience in manufacturing preferred
3+ years of managerial experience
Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent project planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of budgeting and cost control
Knowledge of industrial equipment, controls, and preventative maintenance programs
Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems
Demonstrated leadership and change management skill
