Reporting to the Executive Director, Motor Vehicle Modernization, the Manager of Business Operations and Modernization provides strategic leadership for IT support, service management, and system modernization initiatives to ensure efficient, compliant, and user-focused operations. The role also establishes and maintains knowledge management frameworks and comprehensive documentation to support operational consistency, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
The Manager works in a complex, fast-paced environment, balancing day-to-day IT operations with strategic modernization initiatives while managing competing priorities, tight timelines, and diverse stakeholder needs. The role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, strong communication, and effective change management to navigate operational challenges, optimize resources, manage risks, and ensure successful project delivery, service continuity, and organizational alignment.

Requirements for the role:
University degree in Computer Science, Business/Commerce, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field, supplemented by a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible and related experience.
Equivalency will be considered on a one-to-one basis; One year of experience for one year of education and vice versa.
