The position
1. Develop and implement BI strategies and data-driven mindset
- Design and implement BI tools and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
- Define and implement KPIs and reporting standards to measure business success
- Drive data-driven mindset in the organization
2. Analyse and interpret data to provide- and effectively present actionable insights
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to support business decision-making.
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- Create interactive dashboards and charts to effectively communicate data stories.
3. Engage with stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions aligned with business goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and business drivers
- Develop and roll-out solutions aligned to business goals
- Provide regular updates and proactively address key challenges and opportunities
4. Lead the implementation of advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions
- Drive adoption of data programming languages and AI techniques (e.g. machine learning) to enhance BI capabilities
- Evaluate and integrate new and emerging technologies to improve data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles, preferably in FMCG or Pharma industry.
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages, data/scripting programming languages, and business intelligence software.
- Proven expertise in utilising AI and machine learning techniques to derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, data storytelling, and visualisation.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving data-driven decision-making.
- Proficient in both written & spoken English and Chinese.
