Manager – Business Development

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE | Department: EDGE Commercial – Business Development

EDGE Group is seeking a Manager – Business Development to drive business growth, develop strategic opportunities and build strong customer relationships across its advanced technology and defence portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across priority markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead opportunity qualification, capture planning and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to develop competitive solutions and proposals.
  • Support negotiations, pipeline management and business development reporting.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and market expansion opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or related field.
  • 12+ years of relevant Business Development, Sales or Commercial experience.
  • Knowledge or experience in technologies and products in at least a few of the following areas: integrated C5ISR systems, C5ISR products, multi-intelligence fusion, sensing and intelligence (EW, Radar, EO/IR, SAR, AIS, acoustics, GEOINT, OSINT, etc), artificial intelligence (AI), platforms, autonomy, missiles, weapons, multi-domain systems and technologies, and tactical systems.* Knowledge of one or more EDGE clusters, or experience with similar systems: Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, Secure Intelligence Systems, Advanced Sensing, Homeland Security, and Technology and Industrialization* Experience in the defense sector
  • Experience within defence, aerospace, advanced technology, security or related sectors.
  • Strong commercial, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
