Job Description

The Manager, Business Analytics - Supply Chain is responsible for leading the efforts of the Business Analytics team to support the Enterprise’s key strategic goals, with a primary focus on Supply Chain functional areas. Responsibilities include preparing and communicating project documentation, supporting data asset initiatives, presenting complex reports and visualizations, and providing data-driven insight and solutions across the business.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate data sets, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations.
    • Analyze data for accuracy and consistency and develop best practices.
    • Continuously work to improve the integrity of data, systems, and tools.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, provide status updates, and clearly present comprehensive reports for actionable insights.
    • Define and present KPI business metrics to Stakeholders.
    • Work with leadership to understand current needs in support of strategic goals.
    • Represent the department as an SME within large-scale projects.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports accurately and present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
    • Design and architect advanced data visualizations using various BI tools and solutions.

      • Guided UI Pages for Business Users
      • Charts/Graphs
  • Possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to identify and address opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Leverages best practices and applies them to tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust quickly to changing business needs.
  • Manages all phases of projects.
  • Retains business requirements and remains adaptive, utilizing various analytical approaches and languages.
  • Produces project documentation and presents business user summarizations.
  • Possess strong managerial skills.
  • Acts as a mentor and SME to other analysts on the team.
  • Ensures the team has the tools and resources needed to perform work effectively and communicates gaps.
  • Manages team workflow and delegates tasks.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience working with large data sets is preferred.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience working with organization BI tool is preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience working in a manager’s role is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI is preferred.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder WMS, TMS, or Demand/Fulfill is preferred.
  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and enterprise reporting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL is preferred.
  • Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
  • Team-oriented, hardworking, open-minded, and flexible.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
  • Ability to read and interpret, and also to prepare documents such as instructions and procedure manuals, and network diagrams.
  • Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving.
  • The work performed is in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.
