Job Purpose:
Supports the rollout of Maaden’s organizational narrative within designated business units by leading strategic content development, storytelling, and channel execution. The role ensures that BU priorities and growth objectives are reflected in coherent, consistent, and brand‑aligned communication strategies across earned and owned channels. Acting as the strategic advisor to BU leadership, the position blends creativity, narrative development, and strategic communications to maintain alignment with the hero brand position while enabling each BU to meet its specific objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Own the end-to-end strategic communications agenda for Ma’aden business units, ensuring priorities and growth plans translate into clear, coherent, audience‑focused communication strategies aligned with corporate narrative, brand standards and governance.
Plan and execute content, channel strategy, and measurement across internal and external audiences, partnering closely with BU leadership while adhering to CCD approvals, escalation processes, and enterprise policies.
Develop communications strategies and annual plans for each BU, ensuring alignment with the corporate brand strategy while meeting BU‑specific objectives, themes, proof points, campaigns, and milestones.
Ensure consistent application of the brand narrative, governance, and visual identity.
Engage with BU leadership to understand priorities, proactively manage issues, and align cross‑functional delivery (media, digital, internal communications, events).
Oversee multi‑channel content development (media, owned digital, internal platforms) in line with Ma’aden brand guidelines.
Serve as the primary communications point of contact for BU leadership.
Define KPIs and performance objectives, track outcomes (share of voice, sentiment, visibility, engagement, approvals efficiency), and provide monthly/quarterly reports to BU and CCD leadership.
Lead a direct team and work cross‑functionally to manage BU communication activities and maintain delivery momentum.
Manage creative and communication agencies to develop strategies, content, and performance measurement.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
8+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism.
Skills:
Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.
Proven success in multi-channel integrated communications.
Proficiency in Arabic and English.
Familiarity with media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision), CMS platforms, and digital analytics.
Strong diplomacy, writing, and strategic thinking.
Experience leading teams and agencies.
