We are looking for a Manager, Boutiques to lead and grow our retail operations across both physical stores and online boutiques. In this role, you contribute to the overall performance of the CMH and CWM boutiques. You support revenue growth, strengthen operational excellence, and help create a consistent and engaging customer experience. You play an active role in shaping commercial strategy, improving operations, and developing product offerings.
What you will do:
• Lead revenue targets for retail stores and online boutiques
• Oversee retail operations and inventory management
• Develop a customer experience focused on quality and the complimentarity of the Museum experience
• Manage inventory systems and ensure operational efficiency
• Define and implement purchasing and merchandising strategies
• Supervise purchasing, product reception, and product management
• Support financial planning and revenue reporting for the department
• Identify and lead new business opportunities and partnerships.

What you bring:
At least five (5) years of experience in retail operations, ideally within a gift shop or tourism environment, where you have contributed to both operational performance and customer experience:
• Managing retail operations, in gift shop, cultural and/or tourism environments
• Managing financial and human resources
• Sourcing, purchasing and developing products
• Merchandising and visual presentation
• Negotiating contracts, concession agreements, and royalties
• Online retail operations
• Working experience with administering and managing retail inventory systems.
Knowledge you apply:

• Retail policies and procedures
• Retail pricing, discounting, and pricing strategies
• Promotions and marketing strategies
• Inventory control systems
• Retail industry trends, with cultural sector experience as an asset
• Management principles.
Education: University degree in business administration or retail management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation: $103,436 to $ 131,689 (MG3) (under review)
Status: Permanent Full-Time Position (#90233)

Location: 100, Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec
