About the Role

The BCOS Change Management & Communication Lead is responsible for driving the culture change, communication, and engagement strategy for the Barry Callebaut Operating System (BCOS). The role ensures organizational readiness, strong adoption of BCOS standards, and consistent messaging across all levels of the global organization.

BCOS is Barry Callebaut’s unified operating system designed to strengthen performance and drive operational excellence. Built on leading industry practices (IWS – Integrated Work Systems), it provides a structured, people‑focused approach to continuous improvement. It empowers teams with the skills, tools, and ownership needed to solve problems and elevate results. Through a Learn-Do-Teach mindset, it fosters collaboration, accountability, and a culture of ongoing development.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Change Management Leadership: Lead the global BCOS change strategy, ensuring clear planning, stakeholder alignment, and structured change deployment. Develop and maintain the BCOS change framework, tools, and readiness assessments. Support the Program Lead in embedding a strong zero loss and continuous improvement mindset
  • Communication Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the global BCOS communication plan, including messaging, storytelling, branding, and leadership materials. Create toolkits, templates, and communication assets for regions and sites to ensure consistent BCOS messaging. Ensure transparent, timely updates on progress, milestones, success stories, and learnings
  • Engagement & Capability Building: Support capability building by developing training material, onboarding packages, and communication for BCOS pillars. Enable leadership engagement through structured communication routines, campaigns, and immersive experiences. Drive global BCOS events, workshops, and recognition programs
  • Stakeholder & Network Management: Coordinate with regional, functional, and site BCOS leads to ensure alignment and reinforce change objectives. Partner with HR, Learning & Development, Digital/IT, and Manufacturing Excellence teams to integrate BCOS into organizational processes. Serve as the central point for communication consistency and change governance across the BCOS network
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor adoption levels, readiness, and communication effectiveness. Collect feedback from sites and stakeholders to continuously refine messaging, tools, and change approaches. Support the Program Lead in preparing leadership reviews, dashboards, and communication for executive audiences

About You

  • 7-10+ years of experience in change management, communication, operational excellence, or transformation roles
  • Experience supporting large-scale system deployments (ideally IWS-based operating systems
  • Proven ability to work in complex, global organizations and influence diverse teams
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and content creation skills
  • Experience in manufacturing and capability-building systems is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, psychology, operations, HR, or related fields.
  • Change Management Certifications an advantage
  • Proficient in English, any additional language an advantage
  • Strong expertise in communication strategy, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement
