About this opportunity:

The Manager – Automation Architecture is responsible for ensuring driving the designing of end-to-end autonomous operations use cases leveraging on automation capabilities by co-creating tailored solutions that drive value and differentiation. The role is critically important as it contributes into efficiencies in service delivery through streamlined automation processes.

What will you do:

  • Ensuring to drive design & development of robust and scalable architectures for automation solutions that meet the evolving needs of Ericsson and its customers.
  • Ensuring to design, develop, and implement frameworks for streamlining repetitive tasks, orchestrating workflows, and implementing automated decision-making processes improving efficiency across various projects.
  • Responsible for contributing towards efficiencies in service delivery through streamlined automation processes.
  • Responsible for preparing scalable, modular, re-usable designs enabling high velocity and reusability and aligning with EOE objectives.
  • Exhibit thought Leadership & a forward-looking approach in the way we operate, contributing insights and best practices across all SM layers & units.
  • Ensuring that the team stays up to date with industry trends and best practices in Automation & provide thought leadership to improve velocity, re-usability & opportunities for further research.
  • Support the Head of Service Architecture and management on Service Delivery issues both internally and in customer meetings.
  • Responsible for own domain Competence & Capability Build through hiring, training & coaching according to dimensioning in alignment with SM Strategy and Resource Planning team.
  • Ensuring a high motivation level of team resources. Responsible for building a productive work environment for individuals and their organizations.
  • Responsible for Line Management of the respective team and unit (e.g., Annual Salary Review, IPM goal setting & reviews, competence development, STV).
  • Responsible for fulfilling Billability, Utilization & Efficiency targets, and financial forecasting and budget fulfillment for their respective project deliveries.

What will you bring:

  • Degree in Engineering or Equivalent (ECE/CSE/IT) / MBA.
  • Minimum 14+ years of total experience with 10+ years of experience in Leadership and Team Management of minimum 12-15 team members.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Telecom / IT Service Management roles.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience with Service Management related areas: Automation, AI/ML, BPMS.
  • Strong understanding & experience of MS Tools portfolio
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Autonomous Networks
  • Sound understanding of MS Environment & Processes
  • Good understanding of SLA and WLA/OLA.
  • Strong Line Manager & leadership , change management skills, influencing and leading by example.
  • Excellent English language skills oral and written.
  • Performance and Results oriented with good skills in leading and motivating people and conscious of responsibility and empowerment.
