This role balances strategy and execution, ensuring solutions are reliable, scalable, and grounded in how HR work actually gets done.

As part of the HR Operations leadership team, this manager is deeply embedded in service delivery. They lead teams responsible for hands‑on operational enablement, shape strategy based on real operational demand, and partner across HR, vendors, and the enterprise to ensure solutions are aligned, adopted, and effective.

  • Automation, AI & Technology Application
    • Drive thoughtful application of practical technologies—such as Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot, and agent‑based solutions—to improve scale, consistency, and efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and modernize HR processes through automation, centralization, and vendor solutions.
  • Data, Analytics & Insights

  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive ongoing improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify work, reduce manual effort, and improve service quality.
    • Support initiatives that focus on key “moments that matter” across the caregiver lifecycle.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role comes from proven experience leading HR operations or service delivery teams, paired with the ability to build strategy and enable the practical use of technology. About Providence

Every day, 119,000 compassionate caregivers serve patients and communities through Providence St. Joseph Health, a national, Catholic, not-for-profit health system, driven by a belief that health is a human right.

Rooted in the founding missions of the Sisters of Providence and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, courageous women ahead of their time who brought health care and other social services to the American West when it was still a rugged, untamed frontier, we share a singular commitment to improve the health of all.

From our earliest days, we’ve met new challenges by pioneering new solutions. Today, with 51 hospitals, 829 clinics and a comprehensive range of services, we strive to meet the needs of communities across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington through a diverse family of Catholic, other faith-based and mission-driven secular organizations.

Now, as we face a new frontier—a changing health care landscape—we draw upon their pioneering and compassionate spirit to plan for the next century of health for a better world, especially for the poor and vulnerable.
