Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 536474) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 8 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or of a related field. They should be competent communicators who have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to motivate their team members to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Experience in undergraduate programme management would be an advantage.
The appointee will handle a diverse range of administrative tasks in support of the operation of the Faculty’s Teaching and Learning Team. The duties may cover preparatory work for the accreditation of a professional undergraduate programme, human resources management, as well as quality assurance and enhancement matters. Most of the tasks will involve substantial writing. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
