Your Opportunity

Our Salmon Arm, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops offices are looking for a Manager to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Review assurance and non-assurance engagements for private or NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed

  • Effectively plan,superviseand execute assuranceand non-assurance engagements

  • Assurance & Accounting projects may include preparation of financial statements, due diligence procedures, services related to capital raising, and involvement in tax services provided to assurance and non-assurance clients

  • Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existingclientsopportunities on an on-going basis

  • Address client issuesin a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using your strong technical skills and accounting experience

  • Applyappropriate industry/businessknowledgein anticipating,identifyingand addressing issues relevant to the client’s business

Your experience and education

  • Professional designationrequired(CPA)

  • 1+ years of management experiencein an accounting and/or assurance role

  • Bilingual is an asset

  • In depth experience in relation to ASPE or ASNPO files

  • Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Act as a leader in the Firm, continually focused on employee engagement

Salary range: $73,000-$111,000
