Job Description

As our Manager, Associate Engagement and Internal Experiences, you'll lead the strategy and execution of impactful events that engage associates, connect leaders, and support key business initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic and people-focused leader who blends corporate event expertise with strong business acumen, leveraging data-driven insights and stakeholder partnerships to deliver exceptional experiences across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate event management, third-party events, communications, hospitality, or a related field, preferably within a medium to large corporate organization.

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams, with strong people leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Experience driving associate engagement initiatives, leveraging feedback and eNPS data to enhance culture and improve the employee experience.

  • Strong technical proficiency with event management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Accelevents), Salesforce or similar CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools such as Workfront.

Establish the strategic planning and execution of internal events and engagement initiatives designed to build a connected organizational culture. Partner cross-functionally to support the needs of associates across all locations. Translate workforce feedback and sentiment into meaningful programs that drive alignment, recognition, and a consistent sense of belonging

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Leads the planning, logistical operations, and execution of internal events, associate engagement initiatives, recognition moments, and leadership meetings.
  • Builds a deep understanding of associate needs across diverse office locations through ongoing feedback, local relationship building, and onsite observations.
  • Translates workplace insights into targeted, high-quality programs that strengthen connections, champion company culture, and increase the sense of belonging.
  • Partners closely with HR, Communications, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership to align internal events with broader business objectives.
  • Manages vendor contracts, venues, event budgets, event technology platforms, and local office execution plans.
  • Creates scalable event planning processes, templates, operating trackers, and documentation to improve execution quality and consistency across locations
  • Measures the effectiveness of all engagement initiatives through attendance metrics, post-event surveys, and data-driven insights.
  • Recommends continuous improvements to internal experiences by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, enhance relevancy, and streamline planning.

Nature and Scope

  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
  • Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
