Job Description

[What the role is]

The job holder will be part of a dynamic HR team responsible for the review and formulation of HR policies, processes, communications, and manpower planning for the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).

[What you will be working on]

The job scope will be as follows:

  • Review SFA’s HR policies to ensure that they remain relevant to employee needs, aligned with organisational objectives, and consistent with whole-of-government positions.
  • Review HR processes and SOPs for alignment to HR policies, identify inefficiencies, and streamline workflows.
  • Plan and develop central HR communications materials to build awareness of HR policies and communicate policy changes, ensuring communications are clear and accessible to all employees. This includes addressing employee queries and feedback regarding HR policies and processes.
  • Manage Employee Engagement Survey (EES) exercise end-to-end, overseeing survey administration, results analysis, after-action planning workshops for stakeholders, and reviews of relevant HR policies and processes to ensure that employee feedback translates into meaningful action.

[What we are looking for]

  • Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience in HR policies and/or process improvements in the Singapore public sector
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Ability to engage and establish rapport with stakeholders, senior management and contributors at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Meticulous, resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
