The Power / Recovery Area Manager will be responsible for managing the
Supply of steam, electricity, air and water to the Mill in a safe,
Efficient, and reliable manner. Requirements are:
• Promote a safe and caring culture within the power department
• Ensure environmental compliance with all regulations
• Engage and develop crew leadership
• Provide world class customer service to other departments of the
Mill
• Mange the reliability of the power boiler, turbine generator,
Utilities, Recovery Boiler, Evaporator, Demineralizer and waste
Treatment systems.
• Provide guidance to the Mill to achieve minimum energy costs
• Interact effectively and cooperatively within all levels of the
Organization
• Manage all aspects of revenue generation including the marketing
Of electrical power
• Coordinate all aspects of outages (planning, execution,
Reliability, cost, etc.)
• Support the Project Development Process, working closely with
Project Engineering and Area leaders in Power and Maintenance.
