The IT Applications Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development, optimization and support of their designated applications in support of Nordic's managed services customers. Must have in-depth knowledge of application administration, the healthcare IT industry, and IT Service Management. The IT Applications Manager provides leadership and oversight to all areas of responsibility. The incumbent will be knowledgeable about organizational policies, procedures and business operations, and the areas of business they are representing and the functionality available in the application(s). The Manager will direct a team of application analysts in managing the day-to-day activities related to the applications. The incumbent will partner will operational leaders in the organization to ensure design of applications and other functionality to support the optimization of clinical and operational workflows. The Manager will oversee and drive decisions in support of changes to integrated workflows, any significant changes to data collection processes and/or reports associated with the use of vendor software. The IT Applications Manager is responsible for understanding the operational strategies and how they drive integration with vendor applications and design the implementation and optimization of the system.
The IT Applications Manager will ensure alignment of all application activities with cultural and clinical transformation objectives. The incumbent will identify and manage resistance to change as related to their respective application(s) of responsibility. The Manager will assign appropriate leaders to oversee the integrated design, build and validation of the of their application as well as the optimization of the system for all internal and external users.
