Purpose Statement

To execute and oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of assigned AML Operations functions in compliance with all AML/CFT legislation and regulatory requirements.
To ensure operational teams deliver their objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency and accuracy; to lead and develop team members; and to support the Manager: AML Operations in the strategic delivery of the FCO function.

Experience

• 3 - 5 Years AML Operations Experience
• Min 2 Years Leadership experience within AML Operations Environment

Qualifications (Minimum)

Knowledge

• Basic regulatory and compliance knowledge.
• Legislation relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating of Terrorist Financing (CTF), Proliferation Financing (PF), sanctions, and applicable regulatory reporting obligations.
• Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD), and customer risk assessments.Knowledge of transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, PEP screening, adverse media screening, and suspicious activity identification.
• Knowledge of all regulatory reporting requirements, including STR/SAR, CTR, TPR, TFAR, IFTR and other applicable FIC reporting obligations.
• Knowledge of financial crime trends, emerging typologies, and industry best practices.
• Understanding of data analysis, investigative techniques, and evidentiary requirements for regulatory reporting and decision-making.
