Job Description

Manager is responsible for overseeing statutory compliance, facility coordination, patient service management, and interdepartmental operations to ensure smooth and efficient hospital functioning.


Key Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Compliance & Licensing

Manage end-to-end licensing, renewals, and compliance submissions for the following statutory requirements:

  • Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB)
  • Thermoluminescent Dosimeter (TLD) batch compliance
  • Nursing Home License
  • Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) License
  • Biomedical Waste Management Authorization
  • Hazardous Waste Management Compliance
  • Ambulance Registration
  • Blood Storage License
  • Food and Drug Administration (FDA) License
  • Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) License
  • Fire Safety Certification
  • Lift (Elevator) License
  • Electrical Compliance
  • Diesel Generator (DG) Compliance
  • Consent to Operate (CTO)
  • Legal Metrology Department (LMD) Compliance
  • Indian Performing Rights Society (IPRS) – Public Performance License
  • Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Registration

2. Transport & Logistics Coordination

  • Arrange transportation for visitors from various units to Pune facilities.
  • Coordinate hotel bookings for visiting personnel.
  • Liaise with management to finalize vendor contracts for transportation and accommodation services.

3. Food & Beverage (F&B) Operations

  • Coordinate with the F&B department for manpower planning and deployment.
  • Conduct daily rounds of kitchen and cafeteria areas.
  • Identify operational issues and ensure timely resolution through coordination with relevant teams.

4. Housekeeping (HK) Management

  • Oversee housekeeping manpower allocation and area coverage.
  • Conduct daily inspections to monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Report discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.

5. Vendor Billing & Payments

  • Verify monthly bills for F&B and housekeeping services.
  • Ensure accurate processing and submission for payment in a timely manner.

6. In-Patient (IP) Discharge Coordination

  • Coordinate with IP floor teams regarding planned and unplanned discharges.
  • Work closely with IP coordinators to expedite the discharge process and improve patient flow.

7. Patient Issue Resolution

  • Address and resolve patient concerns on the floors on behalf of the operations department.
  • Ensure all issues are handled professionally and resolved amicably.

8. Out-Patient Department (OPD) Coordination

  • Conduct OPD rounds regularly.
  • Understand doctors’ requirements in the OPD area and facilitate prompt resolution.

9. Security & External Coordination

  • Liaise with the security team to address and resolve security-related concerns.
  • Represent the hospital at police stations, if required, to handle security or legal matters.

10. Patient Experience & Floor Management

  • Conduct daily rounds of IP floors to interact with patients.
  • Identify concerns proactively and ensure timely resolution to enhance patient satisfaction.

11. International Patient Support

  • Coordinate with operations and marketing teams for:
    • Form C processing
    • Currency conversion requirements for international patients
