Job Description

  1. Recommends competitive and sustainable pricing for products based on actuarial models and market trends
  2. Leads product updates, maintains competitiveness and addresses customer needs throughout the product lifecycle
  3. Develops and implements data quality control procedures for actuarial performance data
  4. Collaborates with stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap for future development
  5. Manages relationships with third-party vendors for product development
  6. Champions new methods for data visualization to effectively display actuarial product advantages and benefits

Qualifications

  1. Supervisory or management experience
  2. Completion of five Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams
**Typical Qualifications**
  1. Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Seven years of related experience
  3. Validation by Ed ucation Experience (VEE)
  4. Supervisory or management experience
  5. Completion of five Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams

**Hybrid Work Environment - Must reside on Oahu **

Pay Range $99,500 - $206,500, position is eligible for an incentive bonus

  • Provides leadership to managers and professional staff
  • Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams
  • Develops departmental plans, including business, operational and/or organizational priorities
  • Decisions are guided by resource availability and organizational objectives
