Manage the Acquisitions Analytics function through the development, implementation and oversight of credit risk, pricing, portfolio growth and predictive analytics strategies that support profitable business growth. Supervise acquisition-focused analytical resources and ensure data-driven decision making throughout the customer acquisition lifecycle. Utilize advanced statistical techniques, machine learning methodologies and risk modeling frameworks to optimize approval rates, portfolio quality, dealer performance and profitability. Partner with Risk Management, Sales, Credit, Marketing and Finance leadership to drive growth while maintaining acceptable risk levels. Participate in global risk management initiatives and ensure alignment with industry best practices and MBFS strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the Acquisitions Analytics team responsible for credit risk, pricing, and portfolio acquisition strategies. Responsible for the day-to-day coaching, development, and performance management of the team. (30%)
Develop, monitor and enhance application scoring models, underwriting strategies and credit decisioning tools supporting acquisition growth and profitability. (15%)
Perform advanced portfolio analytics to identify trends in approval rates, booking rates, losses, risk-adjusted returns and customer behavior. (15%)
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding acquisition policies, segmentation, pricing strategies and growth opportunities. (15%)
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Credit Operations to improve dealer performance, customer acquisition effectiveness and portfolio quality. (10%)
Manage implementation, validation and governance of internal and vendor acquisition models in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. (10%)
Evaluate emerging analytical techniques and technologies that improve acquisition decisioning and profitability. (5%)
Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to supervise, coach, and develop analytical professionals while driving team performance and accountability. Strong knowledge of credit risk management, underwriting, acquisition strategy, pricing, and portfolio profitability. Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills with expertise in SQL and experience with Python, SAS, R, or similar analytical tools. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence strategic business decisions, and effectively communicate complex analytical findings to executive and non-technical audiences. Strong stakeholder management, strategic planning, project prioritization, and change management skills. Experience with model governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management best practices, along with participation in global and cross-functional projects.
