Description
The Reimbursement Manager is responsible for the overall performance, outcomes, and financial health of the company’s accounts receivable. This role owns the end-to-end AR process, ensuring timely billing, effective collections, denial mitigation, and accurate cash application while driving reduction in outstanding receivables and bad debt.
This position is accountable for influencing and improving AR outcomes by ensuring teams actively manage their assigned portfolios, resolve denials, and prioritize paid resolution over write-offs whenever appropriate. The Reimbursement Manager leads the day-to-day operations of the department while ensuring compliance with all regulations and alignment with organizational financial goals and service excellence standards.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position manages all employees of the department, including hiring, development, performance management and discipline within company and department guidelines.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is generally required to sit; frequently stands, may climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
TRAVEL:
Minimal travel is required for this position but occasional out of town and overnight travel may be expected.
