Job Title – Manager Accounts & Finance – Process Transformation & Digitalization (Real Estate)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and transformation-focused Manager Accounts & Finance – Process Transformation & Digitalization to drive finance process optimization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives across the organization. The role will bridge finance operations and technology, identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve controls, enhance reporting, and maximize ERP and digital platform capabilities.

The position will play a key role in transforming finance operations within a large-scale real estate environment, supporting improved efficiency, data accuracy, process governance, and management decision-making. This is particularly relevant in an organization actively investing in digital solutions across its real estate and customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Process Transformation

• 
  Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives across Accounts, Finance, and related functions.
• 
  Review existing finance processes and identify inefficiencies, control gaps, duplication, and manual activities.
• 
  Develop and implement streamlined, standardized, and automated finance workflows.
• 
  Establish process improvement roadmaps aligned with business and finance objectives.
• 
  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Digitalization & Automation

• 
  Identify finance processes suitable for automation, digitization, and workflow optimization.
• 
  Lead implementation of RPA, workflow automation, OCR, analytics, dashboards, and other digital finance solutions.
• 
  Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve finance operations.
• 
  Develop business cases, ROI assessments, and implementation plans for finance transformation initiatives.
• 
  Monitor the effectiveness and adoption of newly implemented digital solutions.

ERP & Finance Systems

• 
  Drive optimization and enhancement of ERP-based finance processes and modules.
• 
  Work closely with IT and system implementation teams to define finance requirements and functional specifications.
• 
  Lead system testing, UAT, process mapping, configuration validation, and implementation activities.
• 
  Identify system gaps and recommend enhancements to improve accounting and reporting capabilities.
• 
  Ensure integration between finance systems and other business platforms.

Accounting & Financial Controls

• 
  Maintain strong understanding of core accounting processes including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management, reconciliations, and financial closing.
• 
  Review finance workflows to ensure appropriate segregation of duties and internal controls.
• 
  Identify control weaknesses and implement automated controls where possible.
• 
  Ensure process changes remain compliant with accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.
• 
  Support internal and external audit requirements related to systems and finance processes.

Data, Reporting & Analytics

• 
  Develop and enhance finance dashboards, management reports, and performance metrics.
• 
  Improve the quality, accuracy, accessibility, and timeliness of financial data.
• 
  Implement automated reporting and reconciliation solutions.
• 
  Analyze finance data to identify trends, anomalies, process bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• 
  Support management with reliable financial insights and actionable analytics.

Project & Change Management

• 
  Manage finance transformation projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
• 
  Prepare project plans, timelines, deliverables, KPIs, and status reports.
• 
  Coordinate with Finance, IT, Procurement, HR, Operations, Sales, and external technology partners.
• 
  Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests.
• 
  Drive user adoption through training, communication, and change management initiatives.

Process Governance & Documentation

• 
  Develop and maintain detailed SOPs, process maps, RACI matrices, and finance policy documentation.
• 
  Establish standardized finance processes across departments and business units.
• 
  Define and monitor process KPIs and service-level metrics.
• 
  Ensure transformation initiatives are properly documented and governed.
• 
  Conduct periodic reviews to identify additional optimization opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 
  Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• 
  8–12 years of experience across accounting, finance, finance transformation, process improvement, or digitalization.
• 
  Strong experience managing finance transformation and digitalization projects
• 
  Proven experience with ERP finance modules and finance process automation.
• 
  Experience in real estate, construction, property development, infrastructure, or other large-scale organizations is highly preferred.
• 
  Strong understanding of end-to-end finance and accounting processes.
• 
  Experience with ERP implementation, system upgrades, UAT, process mapping, and business requirements gathering.
