Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Facility Manager to lead our healthcare team and oversee the daily operations of our mental health facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals seeking mental health support while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Fulltime shift:

Monday to Friday 7a-3p

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the mental health facility, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
  • Manage and supervise direct care staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Implement policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Assist in coordinating patient care services, ensuring high-quality treatment and support for clients
  • Monitor and manage the facility’s budget, resources, and staffing needs
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and confidentiality requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance service offerings
  • Conduct regular staff training and development to maintain high standards of care
  • Handle patient and family concerns, providing resolution and support as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for regulatory and organizational purpose
  • Must be on duty 40 hours per week and must be available by telephone after hours and on weekends (on-call)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work preferred
  • Experience in managing a healthcare or mental health facility preferred-
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of mental health treatment practices, regulations, and compliance standards
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy-
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records
