About the Role
The Microsoft 365 Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously enhancing enterprise end-user technologies across the AIA Group environment, with direct responsibility for supporting Active Directory services across China.
This role works closely with the Microsoft 365 Product and Service Management team, IT operations, security, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable collaboration, identity, mobility, and productivity services. It also provides technical leadership for platform adoption, solution design, service optimisation, and business transformation initiatives, including the support, administration, and continuous improvement of Active Directory services for China.
The incumbent is expected to ensure that service support and delivery processes are aligned with agreed service levels, while proactively driving operational excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related end-user services.
Implement, support, and continuously enhance a secure, scalable, and resilient Microsoft 365 environment, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related end-user technologies.
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory Services across China, including domain controllers, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, to ensure a secure, stable, and resilient identity infrastructure.
Provide subject matter expertise for business requirements, solution design, platform standards, and service enhancements across Microsoft 365 and Active Directory services, ensuring alignment with desired business outcomes.
Administer andoptimiseidentity, access, device, collaboration, and productivity services, with a strong focus on security, governance, compliance, availability, and user experience.
Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Active Directory and related identity services by applying operational best practices, maintaining platform standards, and driving continuous service improvement.
Act as a technical focal point and escalation contact for incidents, problems, changes, and service requests related to Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure identity services, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues affecting Microsoft 365 and Active Directoryservices, andimplement preventive and corrective measures to reduce service disruption and strengthen platform resilience.
Implement and enforce security best practices across Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, including privileged access management, account lifecycle management, audit policies, and access governance, to protectorganisationalcollaboration and identity services.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, andorganisationalpolicies while supporting audit, governance, and risk management activities.
