Job Description

The Enablement Data & Insights Manager is responsible for leading the data, reporting and analytics capability for UK Learning.

The role will ensure that learning data is transformed into meaningful management information, actionable insight and evidence-based recommendations that support decision-making across UK Learning. The individual will lead the design, development and continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, dashboards, analytics and evaluation approaches that enable the organisation to measure performance, demonstrate impact and inform strategic priorities.

The role plays a critical part in helping UK Learning shift from a reporting-focused approach to an insight-led organisation, ensuring leaders and stakeholders have access to accurate, meaningful and timely information to support decision making and continuous improvement

Leading the development and management of UK Learning's data and insights capability.
Owning the Learning Management Information (MI) and reporting strategy across UK Learning.
Developing and maintaining dashboards, reporting frameworks and KPI measures that support operational, tactical and strategic decision-making.
Ensuring learning data is translated into meaningful insight and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Establishing robust data governance, quality standards and controls to ensure confidence in reporting outputs.
Producing regular performance reporting for UK Learning leadership teams.
Identifying trends, opportunities, risks and performance issues through data analysis and insight generation.
Developing metrics that measure learning effectiveness, learner engagement, operational performance and business impact.
Working with Learning Business Partners, Product teams, Enablement Consultants and Design & Production teams to understand information requirements and develop appropriate reporting solutions.
Supporting workforce planning, demand forecasting, resource management and portfolio reporting activities.
Leading evaluation and measurement frameworks to improve understanding of learning outcomes and effectiveness.
Driving consistency in reporting approaches and KPI definitions across UK Learning.
Supporting regulatory, compliance and governance reporting requirements.
Identifying opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve efficiency through better use of technology and data.
Providing thought leadership on learning analytics, visualisation techniques and emerging approaches to data-driven decision making.
Managing and developing data and reporting resources within the Enablement & Insights function.
Identifying recurring challenges and trends (e.g. process complexity, lack of clarity, inefficiencies) and feeding these into improvement initiatives
Supporting the translation of data and reporting into actionable insights for stakeholders, helping to answer the “so what” and drive better decision-making [
Contributing to the design and implementation of process improvements, simplification initiatives and new operating approaches
Supporting the adoption of standardised tools, frameworks and processes across UK Learning
Championing a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset within Enablement, shifting perception from process-led to insight-led support
Navigate ambiguity, particularly across global and cross-functional teams

Role Dimensions

The role will report to the Head of Learning Enablement & Insights and will be responsible for leading the data and reporting capability for UK Learning.
The role may include line management responsibility for Data Analysts, Reporting Specialists, Assistant Managers or offshore reporting resources.
The individual will be responsible for establishing a high-performing analytics function that supports both operational delivery and strategic decision-making across UK Learning.

Essentials Skills and Experience

Significant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting or insight-focused roles.
Proven experience developing management information frameworks, dashboards and reporting solutions.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful trends, risks and opportunities.
Experience translating complex data into concise business-focused recommendations.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience working with multiple systems and large datasets.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to articulate insight to non-technical audiences.
Strong understanding of data governance, controls and quality management.
Experience leading reporting or analytics teams.
Ability to balance operational reporting needs with strategic insight generation.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Formal Project Management certification
Experience working within Learning & Development, HR, Talent or Professional Services environments.
Knowledge of learning analytics and evaluation methodologies.
Experience using Power BI and other visualisation tools.
Experience working with Learning Management Systems and learning technologies.
Experience supporting workforce planning, forecasting or portfolio management activities.
Knowledge of regulatory and governance reporting requirements.
