Principal Responsibilities
Serve as the global Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary administrator for the Qualys platform (VM, PC, WAS, EDR, etc.).
Design, deploy, and maintain Qualys Cloud Agents and physical/virtual scanner appliances across global on-premises and cloud environments.
Configure and optimize global asset groups, tagging rules, and role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure Member Firms have appropriate visibility and access.
Monitor platform health, API usage, and scanner capacity, performing tuning and upgrades as required.
Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and architectural diagrams for the Qualys deployment.
Level 1 support: Oversee and assist with user provisioning, access issues, basic scan configurations inquiries, and initial ticket triage for Member Firm requests.
Level 2 support: Investigate and resolve failed scans, authentication records, cloud agent connectivity issues , and reporting errors. Assist Member Firms with developing custom dashboards and vulnerability queries.
Level 3 support: Provide guidance for complex environments as well as troubleshoot complex api integration failures with 3rd party systems.
Conduct training sessions and create enablement materials to help Member Firm security teams maximize their use of the Qualys platform.
Skills
Experience managing IT resources, operations and projects preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment.
Deep understanding of Qualys modules (VMDR, WAS, PC, CS, etc.).
Experience in security monitoring, security operations, and/or vulnerability remediation activities
Knowledge of security monitoring tools, such as Qualys, reporting and workflow tools.
Experience deploying and managing Qualys Scanner Appliances and Cloud Agents.
Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority

Experience - 8+ years’ experience supporting complex environments and various security related tools. Experience working in a 24x7 IT operations environment. .

Ability to manage competing priorities and workflow. Solid interpersonal skills for written, oral, and face to face communications.
Strong customer service orientation, seeking opportunities to serve clients.
