Job Overview :  The job requires understanding the business and framing the business requirement as a data analytics problem statement. The individual will be responsible for providing business insights and managing end to end project delivery. The job requires building relationship with the client and presenting work directly to clients. The individual should effectively collaborate with team members around problem structuring and use of analytics (tools and techniques) to carry out analysis. The individual will be responsible for project delivery and gathering client feedback.  Responsibilities :  Engage with the client to develop an understanding of needs.  Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for client business needs.  Analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with a clear objective in mind. Research and devise innovative statistical/machine learning models for data analysis. Communicate analytic solutions to senior stakeholders. Candidate Profile : 3 – 10 years of experience in data science position (preferably in Banking and Financial Services) Master's degree in economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, operations research or related areas is preferred; candidates with BA/BS degrees from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply. Experience in programming in python, SQL and/or SAS. Understanding of basic statistical techniques like t-tests, chi-square tests, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, etc.  Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as classification, clustering, Random Forest, GBM, XGBOOST. Experience with exploratory data analysis, feature selection, feature engineering, dimensionality reduction, model comparison and hyperparameter tuning. Experience in LLM. NLP Experience of having worked on neural networks and natural language processing is a plus.  Industry experience related to data science will be preferred over academic/online projects or courses. Good communication and presentation skills. Excellent problem-solving skills.
