Job Description

This opportunity is for Noida new office and since KGSMPL is not present in Noida this position will be hired under KGSMPL Gurgaon location.

This role operates within a large-scale, globally integrated network environment supporting enterprise connectivity across LAN, WAN, data centers, SD-WAN, and cloud. It focuses on technical governance, operational control, and service stability, ensuring alignment with global standards and security policies, while applying strong technical expertise to validate designs and independently manage complex escalations.

  • Own end-to-end network operations across enterprise environments including LAN, WAN, Data Center, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, VPN, and Internet edge, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
  • Act as L3/L4 escalation authority for critical network and security incidents, providing hands-on leadership in diagnosing and resolving complex issues across routing, switching, firewall, and SD-WAN layers.
  • Bring strong hands-on expertise in enterprise routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and Palo Alto firewall technologies (policy management, NAT, VPN, threat prevention), with the ability to validate and troubleshoot real-time issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers, senior engineers, and contractors, ensuring high technical standards, accountability, and continuous capability development.
  • Provide technical oversight and governance across configurations, routing design, firewall policies, and network changes, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Drive deep technical troubleshooting across multi-layer environments (campus, DC, WAN, cloud edge), ensuring quick isolation and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure high availability, redundancy, and resilience across network infrastructure including failover validation and capacity planning.

Technical Governance:

  • Establish and enforce enterprise network standards, design principles, and configuration baselines, ensuring consistency across LAN, WAN, DC, SD-WAN, and cloud environments.
  • Provide governance and technical validation of HLD/LLD, routing architectures, and security designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise and security standards (without owning solution design).
  • Review, validate, and approve network changes, ensuring proper technical assessment, risk evaluation, rollback readiness, and minimal business impact.
  • Ensure consistency and correctness in enterprise routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), segmentation strategies, NAT policies, VPN architectures, and traffic engineering.
  • Govern SD-WAN and SSE implementations, ensuring policy consistency, path selection integrity, failover behaviour, and alignment with security controls.
  • Oversee firewall governance (Palo Alto) including policy standards, segmentation models, NAT rules, and adherence to Zero Trust principles
  • Drive standardization initiatives and actively reduce configuration drift across multi-vendor network environments.
  • Ensure implementation and validation of high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), redundancy models, and failover mechanisms across network infrastructure.
  • Govern capacity planning and performance management, ensuring network scalability, optimal utilization, and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Own and enforce change governance processes, including technical validation, execution oversight, and post-change verification.
  • Drive problem management governance, ensuring identification and closure of systemic issues and elimination of recurring incidents.
  • Ensure documentation standards, audit readiness, and compliance adherence, maintaining accurate network artifacts and control evidence.
  • Collaborate closely with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure integrated governance and seamless operations across hybrid environments.
  • Lead vulnerability management for identified infrastructure risks, collaborating closely with the CISO to drive remediation and strengthen security posture.

    Technical Expectation:
  • Validate proposed configuration changes submitted by senior network engineers or vendors, ensuring their accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with standards prior to deployment in the infrastructure.
  • Independently handle complex, multi-layer network issues, driving end-to-end resolution across routing, switching, VPN, firewall, SD-WAN, and cloud environments.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of enterprise network architecture, including end-to-end traffic flows across LAN, WAN, data center, security stack, and cloud.
  • Lead war-room / major incident bridges, providing technical direction, coordinating stakeholders, and driving timely service restoration with minimal business impact.

Preferred Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 10-12+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering with proven technical team management.
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud networking (Azure / AWS / GCP) and hybrid connectivity models.
  • Relevant certifications preferred: CCNP / CCIE (Cisco), PCNSE (Palo Alto), SIAM.
  • Exposure to AI/automation use cases in network operations.
