Roles & responsibilities
The Supplier Relationship Manager operates within the Group Supply Management function to optimise, govern, and enhance the performance of key suppliers across the Facilities and operations domain. This role focuses on providing analytical insights into supplier performance, conducting routine contract due diligence, and maintaining robust risk and compliance oversight. The role ensures supplier engagements deliver contractually required outcomes, are governed by structured processes, and align with strategic priorities while driving measurable performance improvement and operational resilience.
Contract & Performance Oversight
•Manage supplier contracts within the Facilities and operations domain•Monitor service performance, KPIs, and SLAs.•Ensure contract obligations are met and corrective actions are supported where necessary
Financial Management & Spend Control
•Track budgets and actual spend against plans.•Validate supplier charges and ensure financial commitments align with policies.•Capture financial activities to meet Domain expectations.
Compliance, Change control & SoW management
•Assist in managing supplier compliance with contractual commitments•Ensure robust assessment and documentation of variations, Statements of Work, and change requests•Align activities with category strategies and procurement governance.

•Conduct structured reviews of supplier performance•Identify performance gaps and manage remediation actions•Apply contractual remedies, such as service credits and financial recoveries.
Risk Management & Resilience
•Complete supplier risk assessments•Maintain business continuity, exit planning, and risk mitigation activities•Support throughout the contract lifecycle to ensure resilience.
Governance & Reporting
•Prepare inputs for quarterly business reviews and governance forums•Deliver performance insights, commercial updates, and risk reports•Engage with Domain leadership and Procurement Partners
Supplier Commercial Management & Value Creation
•Support cost optimisation, efficiency, and service enhancements•Enable value creation through continuous improvement•Challenge supplier pricing models using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
Value Delivery & Continuous Improvement
•Provide analysis to support cost optimisation opportunities•Encourage consistent service enhancements•Focus on creating incremental value throughout the contract lifecycle
Relationship Development & Supplier Innovation
•Build strong, collaborative supplier relationships•Encourage innovation and process enhancements•Align relationships with Domain priorities
ESG & Sustainability Alignment
•Capture and report ESG principles and work with suppliers to advance sustainability and responsible business initiatives•Align activities with the firm's priorities on diversity and ESG matters.
Analytics Led Value & Performance Insights
•Develop and maintain analytical dashboards and metrics•Evaluate supplier performance, cost trends, and risk indicators•Provide insights into service quality.
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimisation
•Apply TCO analysis to challenge supplier pricing models.•Focus on reducing long-term cost exposure.•Support financial efficiency within the firm's supplier engagements.

Work experience
•Overall, 8 - 10 years of experience and expertise in supplier relationship management, procurement, commercial operations and similar roles•Organised and efficient in managing multiple suppliers and ensuring quality standards•Ability to operate in complex, highly regulated, or large organisational environments•Degree in business, supply chain, or commercial management.•Professional certifications like CIPS or CPSM are advantageous.
