Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Executive Dining Room Manager2 to lead dining room operations at Ingleside at Rock Creek in Washington, DC Ingleside at Rock Creek is a culturally rich, not-for-profit Life Plan Community offering an engaged lifestyle with exceptional amenities, steps from the beautiful Rock Creek Park, a gem in our nation’s capital.

We’re looking for a hospitality-driven professional with strong front-of-house leadership experience and a passion for mentoring and training staff. A background in a country club or fine dining setting is highly preferred. Typical shift is 12:00pm - 9:00pm, may vary with every other weekend coverage. Bring your passion for hospitality to a team that values excellence, community, and care.

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day front of house operations for the 2 restaurant style dining rooms and a bistro - Marketplace cafe;
  • manage a front-of-house team of approximately 35 staff members, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism;

  • deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and resident dining operations;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests;

  • ensure Sodexo standards are met

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Minimum Management Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
