Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will assist at the front desk, learning the ropes of guest service, or supporting the operations team. You will play a key role in ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. Under the guidance of experienced hotel staff and managers, you will rotate through various departments, gaining insight into the operational aspects of hotel management. Your responsibilities will vary based on the department, but you will always focus on delivering outstanding guest service, learning best practices, and supporting the hotel’s daily functions. As a Management Trainee, you’re not just gaining hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a hotel – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Guest Service Support: Assist with guest check-ins/outs and respond to inquiries to ensure a smooth experience. Support service teams in delivering timely and courteous guest interactions.
  • Operational Exposure: Rotate across departments (front office, housekeeping, guest services) to gain hands-on experience. Help with room allocations, guest requests, and daily operational tasks.
  • Learning & Development: Participate in training and shadowing to understand hotel operations and service standards. Learn to troubleshoot guest issues and support resolution efforts.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. Assist with group check-ins and event coordination as needed.
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: Observe and learn to manage guest complaints and operational challenges. Adapt to different roles and responsibilities throughout the training period.
  • Administrative Tasks: Support with updating guest records, processing payments, and compiling reports. Learn to use hotel PMS and other operational tools.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • Strong interest in building a career in hotel operations, front office, or guest service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS) are preferred.
