Management Control Technician (EN)
As a member of the Management Control team at Mota-Engil Africa, the main responsibilities will include: Participation in the monthly closing, consolidation, and financial reporting processes, ensuring the reliability, consistency, and harmonization of information from different markets and regions; Work closely with local teams, promoting the alignment of processes, reporting criteria, and best practices in management control; Periodically prepare management reports and presentations to support decision-making; Monitor operational and financial performance indicators across different markets, identifying variances and proposing corrective measures; Support external audit processes and ensure continuous coordination between auditors, local teams, and the corporate structure; Collaborate on the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts, ensuring interaction and coordination with the various operations; Support initiatives for the continuous improvement of control, reporting, and financial analysis processes, promoting greater efficiency and standardization across geographies.
Job Requirements and Competencies Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or similar;
At least 2 years of professional experience in finance;
Knowledge of international and national accounting standards;
Proficiency in MS Office tools and knowledge of SAP;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams;
Analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset;
Ability to organize, plan, and manage priorities;
Rigor, a sense of responsibility, and attention to detail;
Team spirit, proactivity, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and international environments;
Availability for occasional international travel.
