Project Background:
Teracore provides financial management support services for our federal customer to assist in achieving their mission to improve homeland security by working with partners (department components, other government agencies, State, local, tribal, and territorial emergency responders and officials) to provide state-of-the-art solutions. Financial management services support is provided to develop long-term plans, develop and implement internal and external performance metrics, develop the agency acquisition strategy, manage the expense programs, provide budget execution, financial management and financial reporting, and assure adequacy of internal controls.
Support a federal client providing professional expert analysis and advice, for the management of the internal controls program, the financial audit readiness and ensuring compliance with regulations. Regulations include (but are not limited to): OMB Circular A-123, Management’s Responsibility for Internal Control, and Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA).
Tasks/Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for internal controls and audit readiness to support annual A-123 compliance effectiveness and corrective actions/MAP processes in support of the Statement of Assurance and eventual DHS clean opinion on Internal Controls.
