Examples of duties

This position serves as our team’s single point of contact for print and design requests from several program areas including Unemployment Compensation, Secretary’s Office, and the Bureau of Administrative Services. Work involves prioritizing projects to ensure timeliness as well as identifying problems, reviewing and analyzing possible changes, making recommendations, and implementing solutions. As a Management Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:


  • Desktop Publishing: Create and modify project files, apply graphic production concepts and branding specifications, and proofread materials for grammar, accuracy, and accessibility
  • Internal Form Orders: Prepare, submit, and track requests for forms and other types of printed materials through internal procurement and order management systems
  • Print Vendor Coordination: Analyze program office print needs and distribution requirements, initiate requests through commercial and state print vendors, and provide guidance to help offices achieve desired results
  • Program Office Projects: Communicate with program staff in person, over the phone, and via email to discuss their document and form needs, determine project methods, revise proofs, and obtain final approvals
  • Form Analysis: Study form history, evaluate effectiveness, compare production costs, and recommend improvements

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
