The Management Aide internship is a six-month assignment. Work schedules and hours may vary by department based on operational needs and the requirements of the assigned position.
Upon successful completion of the initial six-month internship, participants may have an opportunity to compete for an extended internship assignment, depending on City needs, available funding, and the applicable selection process.
The Management Aide Program offers various internship opportunities across multiple City departments, providing interns with the opportunity to apply their education in a professional setting and gain firsthand experience in different areas of municipal government. The Management Aide Program is an entry-level position open to the following candidates:
Recent Graduates - Candidates must have graduated within one year of submitting their application.
Expected Graduation Date - Candidates who are expected to graduate with their bachelor's degree before the start of the internship must complete their degree requirements prior to the program’s start date. The Management Aide Internship is an entry-level position for recent graduates who have completed their bachelor's degree, and candidates must have officially graduated by October 2026 to be eligible for consideration.
