The Management Accounting Lead will play a key role in the successful implementation of the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) across the hospital. The post holder will act as the subject matter expert for management accounting processes, ensuring that budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cost centre management, and financial performance monitoring requirements are incorporated into the new system design and operating model.
The role will work closely with Finance, Procurement, ICT, HR, Operational Managers, the National IFMS Team and implementation partners to support process redesign, data migration, testing, training and deployment activities.

Selection criteria outline the qualifications, skills, knowledge and/or experience that the successful candidate would need to demonstrate for successful discharge of the responsibilities of the post.

Experience with Integra or SAP experience
Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
Membership of a recognised professional accounting body.
Significant experience in management accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
Experience working in a large, complex healthcare or public sector organisation.
Strong knowledge of financial performance management and budgetary control.
Experience of finance systems implementation, upgrades or transformation programmes.
Experience of process mapping, redesign and change management initiatives.
