Job Description

Main purpose

To prepare accurate Clean Trial Balances (Local & Group) for Trafigura entities and provide comprehensive support for accounting, cost management, and reporting processes. This includes general ledger entries, accruals, account reconciliations, financial analyses, and monthly group reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and prepare various financial and operational reports.

  • Support the preparation of Trial Balances for local and group reporting purposes.

  • Maintain data management controls to ensure compliance with data accuracy standards.

  • Perform account reconciliations, including detailed analysis and coordination with internal teams and external third parties.

  • Document work processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

  • Execute and follow up on administrative tasks to support departmental operations.

  • Participate in system and software development projects, including testing and implementation phases.

  • Provide flexible support for ad-hoc requirements, including documentation support and audit requests.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Proven work experience with internal / external audits.
  • Strong English level, oral and written, intermediate or equivalent to B2.
  • Excellent Spanish level, oral and written, advanced or equivalent to C2.
