Join a business that’s growing, innovating, and shaping the future of print technology. At Konica Minolta, we’re not just keeping pace with change, we’re driving it. From advanced printing and scanning to cloud solutions and robotics, our award-winning technologies empower businesses to move information faster and smarter. As we continue to expand and evolve, we’re looking for passionate people to join us on this journey.

We’re proud to offer workplace flexibility, champion diversity, and create an environment where wellbeing and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. If you’re ready to be part of a team that values ideas, collaboration, and growth, this is your opportunity.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Managed Print Services Consultant to join our Managed Services team, supporting the NSW and ACT territory.

The objective of this role is to deliver consulting services for Managed Print Services opportunities, working closely with our direct sales team to grow Konica Minolta's Managed Print Services portfolio. You'll be directly engaged with clients to identify business challenges, using a consultative selling approach to assess and analyse their IT environment and recommend optimised solutions and services that address their strategic goals.

This includes supporting customer assessment and audit activities, leveraging industry-leading applications to capture, analyse and model current-state environments, and develop data-led recommendations for future-state optimisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partnering with sales teams to identify Managed Print Services opportunities and provide leadership on strategy and delivery to customers
  • Assessing and analysing current-state environments and developing future-state solution recommendations that meet customer objectives
  • Conducting customer assessments and audits using industry-leading tools and methodologies, to build current-state baselines, identify optimisation opportunities and support future-state solution design.
  • Presenting and articulating the business benefits and outcomes of Managed Print Services to clients
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading the commercial modelling of opportunities for the sales team to present to customers
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, focusing on common goals, sharing knowledge, and supporting and coaching where appropriate
  • Championing the value and benefits of Managed Print Services to both internal and external customers

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant sales or consulting experience, ideally in managed print services and software solutions, with a proven track record in achieving results
  • Exceptional verbal, written, social, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Broad technical and problem-solving ability
  • Experience managing customer engagements through to completion, with strong customer adoption outcomes
  • Sound analytical skills with great attention to detail and the ability to turn data into strategic insight
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability is highly desirable, including the ability to analyse, cleanse, model and present complex datasets. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI is also desirable, particularly for developing dashboards, visual insights and customer-facing reporting.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of print and imaging technology solutions and services
  • The initiative and confidence to work independently and achieve objectives with minimal supervision
  • The ability to stay calm and exercise good judgement in a fast-paced environment, escalating appropriately when needed
  • Managed Print Services or broader print services industry experience would be highly desirable.

Essential Requirements

As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks.
