Job Description

MAN v FAT Soccer delivers small sided Soccer leagues exclusively designed to support overweight men to improve their physical and mental health. Launched in 2016 by weight loss specialists with over 10 years experience supporting men's health.

What makes our leagues unique is that the coach weighs each player before their game, while supporting and guiding players through their weight loss journey. Players earn bonus goals for their weekly weight loss so the league is decided not only by goals scored on the field, but also pounds lost.

MAN v FAT appeals to men who want to get healthier while playing Soccer and is coming to Lehigh Valley (Allentown) in September 2026.

The program has been hugely successful in the UK with over 8,000 players each week losing hundreds of thousands of pounds since launching in 2016. We now have over 150 clubs in the UK and 25 clubs across Florida, New York, Texas, New Jersey and Pennsylvania with Massachusetts and California arriving later this year.

We’re looking for a dedicated MAN v FAT Health and Wellbeing Coach to support the players and ensure the smooth running and high performance of our new league launching in May 2026 based at Sports Factory Lehigh Valley each Monday evening 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM.

The role would suit an individual who shares our passion for supporting men in making health and lifestyle improvements in order to lose weight. The role will include working with your referee on a weekly basis and regular catch ups with the UK and US based team.

Please note: This role does not involve soccer training the players on the pitch or instructing exercise of any kind, this is not a Soccer coaching role. This position is about supporting and motivating players to make healthy lifestyle changes, facilitating a safe and effective session and completing league related admin tasks.
